Job Description Company Overview The Agency Director is responsible for the coordination and delivery of in-home services. This position oversees all in-home processes which include:
recruitment, orientation, scheduling, quality service delivery, compliance, fiscal responsibility, and ensuring acceptable customer satisfaction. The Agency Director is responsible for the internal sales process including managing the inquiry process, and conducting family consultations. The Agency Director establishes sales goals and a budget and is responsible for attaining goals and managing a cost-effective department. The Agency Director is responsible for hiring, directing, disciplining, and firing in-house as well as a large number of field staff (PRN) employees. It's all about helping people. Essential Functions Internal Sales Process:
Manages the inquiry process including screening and prioritizing potential clients Conducts or coordinates initial family consultations as part of the sales process Ensures customers are treated in such a manner as to maintain good customer relationships and assure positive word or mouth advertising Operations:
Manages the day-to-day operations of the agency programs:
Oversees in-home consultations and completes Client Profile and Employee Assignment Guide to determine the client's needs and direct the employee in how to meet those needs Oversees the recruitment process to ensure that the program maintains an adequate number of employees to meet the demands for client services Coordinates and participates in the orientation of new employees Oversees the Case Coordinators to ensure that cases are covered with appropriate selections of employees with the correct skill sets and that staffing is complete on a daily basis Maintain working knowledge of PCMS Interacts with clients on a daily basis to ensure customer satisfaction Oversees daily service delivery Performs or assigns in-home visits as needed Participates in scheduling in a crisis situation Problem solves/arranges for additional resources as needed to maintain clients in their home setting External Sales Process:
Plans and executes the grassroots marketing plan Maintains contact with referral sources to the agency programs Identifies and develops new sources of referrals for the program Human Resources:
Oversees all HR processes on a daily basis which includes hiring, counseling, and termination incident reports for the In-Home Program Provides oversight to the Case Coordinators and assists the positions in the management of employees Provides for in-service and education to in-house and field staff Evaluates performance of in-house staff at least annually Coordinates evaluations of field staff annually Quality Assurance/Compliance Ensures that the department is run in compliance with all external regulations including wage and hour regulations Performs quarterly self-audits Ensures that all employees are inserviced in the Almost Family Compliance Program Financial Responsibility Meets or exceeds established sales goals Establishes a yearly budget Manages the department according to established budget constraints Maintains acceptable margins Oversees Claims Tracking and responds Daily Work Flow Report Education & Experience Must be licensed Registered Nurse in the state(s) of practice OR have a college degree OR three (3) years appropriate experience. Management experience with proven ability to produce financial results. Experience with marketing and/or sales of services or healthcare products required. Outstanding interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to coordinate many activities at one time and work with a variety of people. Desire to work with seniors and other adults with disabilities and with their families. Ability to influence others. Ability to be flexible with work schedule.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Nursing, Healthcare ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
